A hidden experience

An extremely interesting place to visit. Lots of small gifts/souvenirs to buy and the staff there are knowledgeable. Lots to learn as well.

A shop full of history and surprises.

This small shop spilling out onto the arcade has an amazing assortment of everything Maritime. Once inside theres a treasure-trove of fascinating objects both small and large, including paintings, pictures, models and uniforms to name just a few. Certainly worth a look. I loved it.

Love the models and instruments on display, he gentleman there is very interesting when he describes the artifacts/items from so long ago, a great visit

Hard to find... EASY to Enjoy!

I love the old salt who is Capt. of this land-locked gem! Verbal history and folklore come with every showcase, and the Capt. is a walking maritime history book. I tried to stump him with a query about the famous J Class sailing yachts of the America's Cup during the 1900s... and he altered my 'course: I was simply a deck hand instead of the expert... He kindly, put this crew-member in his proper berth! It's in an odd place... I think it should have marina-front breezes but I think the rent's cheap there...
