The Art Deco cloudy blue back glass was missing and the ancient tube bulb was broken.
The model's home was on the Northern Beaches in a classic Art Deco period mansion and so an authentic restoration was essential .
We managed to find a low emission tubular globe and corresponding ceramic fittings and eventually the cloudy blue glass was sourced some 150 kilometers from our workshop!
However, all the the hard work was rewarded when the owner declared that he was delighted with the result.
